Position Overview
We are in search of a driven Pharmacokinetics Research Scientist with a robust background in bioanalytical techniques for antibodies or proteins. This laboratory-focused role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of pharmacokinetics and toxicology capabilities that support the identification and progression of lead antibodies into clinical trials. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment with multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute in vivo pharmacokinetics studies across a variety of antibody development initiatives.
- Generate and analyze pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data from biological samples to evaluate the potential of individual antibody programs.
- Develop, validate, and implement ligand binding assays for pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, anti-drug antibodies, and pharmacodynamics across different species and biological matrices.
- Collaborate with external contract research organizations (CROs) to conduct in vivo studies and produce critical assay reagents.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, analyze, interpret, and communicate scientific data effectively.
- Mentor and train junior scientists to foster their professional growth.
- Enhance your technical expertise and engage in continuous professional development.
- Prepare educational materials and communicate strategies, findings, and implications to colleagues.
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or academic laboratory setting.
- Proven experience in conducting pharmacokinetic studies and interpreting pharmacokinetic data.
- Familiarity with both non-compartmental and compartmental data analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency in assay qualification and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of antibody structure and function.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with LC-MS for quantifying large molecules in biological samples is preferred.
