Position Overview

Available Territories: Comox Valley, Courtenay, and surrounding regions. This role involves collaborating with a diverse array of funders to assist clients facing various challenges. Health populations and case mix can be tailored based on your interests and expertise. Responsibilities include conducting Functional Assessments, Job Site Visits, and developing Graduated Activity and/or Graduated Return to Work plans, as well as coordinating with the client's healthcare team and payer representatives. Utilize your outstanding communication, clinical, and organizational skills to deliver impactful outcomes that enhance clients' lives, enabling them to engage fully in meaningful activities and return to their valued roles. Many clients may require a period of Active Rehabilitation to foster independence in home and community settings before considering Return to Work. You will gain insights into funder contracts and community resources to facilitate clients' access to essential health services and implement various therapeutic strategies to ensure their success. For clients recently discharged from healthcare facilities or those experiencing ADL difficulties, Home Assessments to evaluate equipment, support, and attendant care needs will also be part of your responsibilities. Health populations include Orthopedics, Mental Health, Neuro (e.g., Concussion/Brain Injury), and Persistent Pain.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation for clinical appointments.
  • Experience with agency payers is highly advantageous.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development.
  • Current membership with COTBC or eligibility for registration.
