This role involves supporting the complete deal life-cycle by ensuring precise and prompt settlements processing, invoice generation, receipt handling, and transaction review.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming trading invoices efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy and relevance of invoices due for payment.
- Distribute payable invoice amounts among trading desks and responsible parties.
- Cross-check payable invoice data against trading system records and forecasts.
- Oversee and facilitate the approval process for timely invoice payments.
- Guarantee prompt dispatch of payable invoices for payment processing.
- Generate sales invoices following directives from desk operators and senior team members.
- Confirm transaction details and tax considerations prior to invoice issuance.
- Record sales invoices generated in alternative systems.
- Track accounts receivable and address any issues with relevant departments.
- Supply invoice-related information to various departments as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable invoicing processes.
- Proven experience with invoicing related to vessels, barges, and railcars.
- Background in cargo or commodity invoicing is essential.
