Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at CareGivers Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy living space.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing and serving nutritious meals to clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Certificate of Conduct.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Immunization records.
  • Tuberculosis test.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes, using your own transportation.
