Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at CareGivers Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
Working Conditions:
  • Work in employer's/client's home
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending
  • Repetitive tasks and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Language:
  • English
Work Schedule:
  • 3 to 80 hours bi-weekly
