Job Title: Supervising Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Chef to join our team at Big Sky Camp Catering Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals for our guests.

Job Summary:

The Supervising Chef will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure the efficient preparation and presentation of meals
  • Developing and implementing new recipes and menu items to meet the needs of our guests
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene
  • Managing inventory and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Responsibilities:

The Supervising Chef will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and present meals
  • Developing and implementing new recipes and menu items
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene
  • Managing inventory and supplies
  • Collaborating with other departments
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in a kitchen environment
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing new recipes and menu items
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Safe Food Handling certificate and other relevant certifications
