Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Leadership: Develop and implement a design strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals, and ensures that our products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  2. Design Research: Conduct research into emerging design and technology trends to stay ahead of the competition and identify new opportunities for innovation.
  3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of highly skilled designers, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure their success.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to ensure that design concepts are feasible and meet customer needs.
  5. Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and to gather feedback on our products.
  6. Project Management: Plan, organize, and execute design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Industrial Design or equivalent, with an MBA preferably.
  • Experience: 20+ years of experience in Industrial Design, Interior Design, R&D, and related activities.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the Business Aircraft Industry, key players, markets, and customers; creative, collaborative, and driven to innovate; solid communication skills to engage people and generate buy-in; experience leading a team.
