About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Chief Technology and Innovation Officer to lead our technology team and drive the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our citizens and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the City's business objectives
- Lead the design, development, and execution of core software development, integration services, and solution delivery
- Oversee the implementation and sustainment of solutions across business solutions and digital services
- Establish and apply standards across applications and technology solutions
- Drive the division's vision by advising senior management on leveraging technology
- Extensive experience leading enterprise solutions and delivery teams within a large complex environment
- Extensive experience building roadmaps and strategy for technology modernization
- Considerable experience leading large, complex projects
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively
- Effective communication skills with ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
