Your Role as an Architect
In this position, you will integrate into the Design team within the Architecture Group, operating from one of our New Brunswick offices.
Daily Responsibilities- Oversee the planning and execution of architectural technical documentation, ensuring comprehensive drawing packages and interdisciplinary coordination;
- Ensure timely and high-quality submissions of architectural documents to clients and stakeholders;
- Manage the creation of all architectural documentation packages, including approvals and specifications for trade services;
- Collaborate with architectural, engineering, and specialist teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations;
- Contribute to project reports and status updates as necessary;
- Lead or participate in regular project meetings, keeping stakeholders informed on progress and addressing their needs;
- Develop and manage Project Plans and Schedules;
- Assist leadership in resource allocation and task assignments for the project;
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to meet both internal and external client requirements, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, quality, and timeline parameters;
- Handle project setup, including contracts and accounting requirements.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a licensed Architect;
- Experience with large to medium-scale projects is essential;
- Must hold a valid Architect license in New Brunswick or be eligible for licensure;
- Familiarity with BIM360, Revit, and Bluebeam is advantageous;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required;
- Strong skills in SketchUp;
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, is a plus;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
