Job Summary

This is an interview position for a Sales Account Manager at Federal Express Corporation Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling FedEx services to both new and existing customers, with a primary focus on existing customers who generate an average net revenue of $25-$75 per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell FedEx services to new and existing customers through telephone sales
  • Meet assigned territory revenue objectives as measured by FedEx
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Stay up-to-date on FedEx features, pricing structures, and billing systems to effectively communicate value to customers
  • Utilize negotiation skills to overcome objections and close sales
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in customer contact and/or direct/telephone sales
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Internet and Intranet
  • Thorough knowledge of FedEx features, pricing structures, and billing systems preferred
  • Solid understanding of FedEx systems and applications preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Commitment to task and overcoming objections
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving results
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Basic level of proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Internet and Intranet

  • Solid understanding of FedEx systems and applications preferred

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to operate in a PC Windows environment
  • Ability to successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
  • Ability to work varying shifts based on business needs
  • For Quebec residents, bilingualism (French and English) is required
