Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at NAI Goddard & Smith Realty Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental properties, ensuring that all lease agreements are met, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of property owners
  • Ensure that all terms of lease agreements are met, including rent payments and property maintenance
  • Hire and supervise support staff to perform operational, clerical, and maintenance duties
  • Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovations to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
  • Monitor progress and costs of work for property owners, providing regular updates and reports
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of operating expenses and income
  • Prepare and submit expense and income reports to property owners and management
  • Respond promptly to trouble calls from clients and tenants, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in property management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
