About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water/Wastewater Design Engineer to join our team at J.L. Richards & Associates Limited. As a key member of our Environmental Infrastructure Market, you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide variety of design projects involving water and wastewater pumping stations, water storage reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment plants, solid waste and biogas facilities, and providing specialist support to multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working directly with environmental engineers and other discipline team members as part of an integrated project team.
  • Managing and executing a wide variety of design projects involving water and wastewater pumping stations, water storage reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment plants, solid waste and biogas facilities, and providing specialist support to multidisciplinary projects.
  • Performing contract administration duties on multidisciplinary projects as needed.
  • Managing and authoring a variety of studies, including Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and Master Plans for municipal water, wastewater, and solid waste infrastructure.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
