Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Assistant at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Westshore. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the assessment and preparation of learning plans tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Collaborate with educators to maintain accurate records and submit written observations on children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records are required.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
