About the Role

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Field Services Representative II to join our dynamic Equipment & Automation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for equipment installations, validations, preventative maintenance, demand maintenance, and repairs.
  • Document all activities within Canadian Blood Services' equipment maintenance database.
  • Occasionally provide technical training to peers and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of biomedical safety and electrical safety codes and their application.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Post-secondary level diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably Biomedical/Clinical Engineering or Healthcare technology.
  • Minimum of five years related work experience, preferably in the healthcare and technology fields.
What You Can Expect
  • Shift/hours: Monday to Friday, business hours.
  • Travel requirements: Occasional travel to other Canadian Blood Services sites within Alberta and occasional interprovincial, overnight travel.
  • Physical requirements: Periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs.
