About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Private Household (GF). As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet clients' dietary needs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic essential
  • Criminal record check required
Work Environment

As a Home Care Assistant, you will work in the employer's/client's home, providing one-on-one care and support. Room and board may be provided, and relocation may be required.
