About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Hugh Pite. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive a balanced diet
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with laundry and household tasks, freeing up time for clients to focus on their interests
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to client care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to relocate to a remote location, with room and board provided
