About the Role:

School District #42 (Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows) is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as casual custodians. As a casual custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and security of our school facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of custodial duties, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and machinery.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Grade 10 and a Building Service Worker Certificate (BSW) from a recognized college or institution.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, equipment, and safety procedures used in custodial work.
  • Sufficient physical strength, health, and coordination to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and harmoniously with others.
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License.
