About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at ETLAS FREIGHT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation fleet, ensuring that our goods are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of our transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of our vehicles and goods, ensuring that our delivery schedules are met and our customers are satisfied.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our transportation operations comply with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for the transportation and storage of our goods, ensuring that they are safe, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to secure the best possible rates and services for our transportation operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of our transportation operations, including metrics such as on-time delivery rates, fuel efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Cargo Management: Manage the tracking and tracing of our goods in transit, ensuring that they are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Trucking company
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail
