Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals and providing excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that inventory levels are accurately tracked.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including the maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
- Financial Management: Manage the store's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Security and Safety: Ensure that the store is secure and that all safety protocols are in place, including the management of security cameras and alarms.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of the store.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of staff members. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
