General Position Summary

As a District Sales Leader Trainee, you will play a vital role in driving sales and developing a high-performing team within your assigned region. You'll receive comprehensive training to hone your leadership skills and become a successful district manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Boost sales by providing exceptional customer service, adhering to established operational procedures.
  • Successfully complete the District Sales Leader Training Program to enhance your core skills in areas such as recruiting, developing, coaching, leading, and training team members.
  • Train store personnel on standard operating procedures, as well as relevant state/provincial and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with store personnel to ensure understanding and compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the District Sales Manager and the stores under your direction.
  • Implement strategies to maximize sales, minimize asset loss, and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements in each store.
  • Travel extensively (up to 90%) between stores within your designated geographic area.
  • Perform the duties of subordinate team members as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Be prepared for overnight travel for training and business meetings.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, working varying days and hours as required by business needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellent attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • One year of relevant experience or; a two-year degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience or; three years of relevant experience.
  • Proven supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally clearly, audibly, and grammatically correctly.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer and navigating relevant software programs.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, insurance coverage, and the ability to operate an automobile.
  • Driving is required for up to 100% of the daily work schedule.
  • Standing is required for up to 90% of the daily work schedule.
  • Experience with relative computer hardware and software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight for training and business meetings.
