Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and execute supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and evaluation criteria to assess and enhance supplier effectiveness.
• Conduct routine evaluations of supplier performance and relay feedback to both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Formulate and implement strategies to elevate supplier performance, including corrective action plans and development initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with procurement and quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and delivery timelines.
• Identify and manage supplier risks, focusing on quality, delivery, and cost mitigation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align supplier performance with overarching business goals.
• Maintain precise records of supplier performance data, improvement initiatives, and risk management activities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree, MBA, or PMP certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in supplier management, emphasizing performance management and enhancement.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams with empathy and patience.
• Experience leading a team of supplier performance analysts, offering guidance and development opportunities.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects while adapting to changing priorities and scopes.
• Advanced data analysis capabilities, with a knack for interpreting complex datasets and generating actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills, adept at planning, executing, and monitoring performance improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams and building robust supplier relationships.
• Experience in risk management, with a focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating supplier risks.
• Proficient negotiation skills, capable of negotiating supplier contracts and resolving performance issues.
• Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, such as SAP, LeanDNA, Power BI, or Ariba.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to drive innovation within the organization.
