Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Concrete Operations Coordinator to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of concrete deliveries, providing pricing to customers, and ensuring accurate batching to produce a high-quality product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Efficient Driver Call Ins
    • Schedule drivers and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and plant operating capabilities.
  • Coordinating Daily Customer Projects
    • Work closely with customers to understand their project requirements and ensure timely delivery of concrete.
  • Plant Efficiency
    • Monitor and optimize plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure accurate batching of concrete to produce a high-quality product that meets customer requirements.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage raw material inventory to ensure timely delivery and minimize waste.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination of concrete deliveries and plant operations.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Previous experience in ready mix concrete or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good computer skills, with the ability to learn new programs quickly.
    • Strong math abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
