Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within food services.
This position is set in a dynamic coffee shop atmosphere, where the ability to work under pressure is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit operational reports as required.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
This role includes supervision of a team of 3-4 individuals.
Physical and Work Conditions- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Work involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
