Job Overview:

As a Security Guard at Paladin Security, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting and managing equipment for various sites.
  • Compiling and submitting daily reports to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Escorting male patients to their designated hospital rooms.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all package recipients.
  • Conducting proactive and reactive security patrols to deter incidents.
  • Responding promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Writing detailed reports on incidents and investigations.
  • Screening patients and visitors while controlling contraband.
  • Overseeing the Forensic Monitoring Station.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Certification in First Aid & CPR - Level C from an approved vendor.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License (G).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double vaccination).
  • Immunization records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, and TB Skin Tests (Steps 1 & 2).
  • Ability to maintain a clean-shaven appearance for N95 Mask Fit Testing.
  • A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of security experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare security is an asset.
  • Must provide certifications in Stay Safe; training options are available for those lacking certifications.
