Position Overview:

The role involves enhancing the educational experience for both staff and students by providing coaching and training aimed at integrating technology effectively within the learning environment.

Responsibilities include the installation and troubleshooting of computer systems, software, and peripherals across various locations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support staff and students in utilizing technology for educational purposes at designated locations.

2. Innovate methods for incorporating learning technologies into everyday practices.

3. Foster strong relationships with end users by engaging positively and supportively.4. Collaborate with team members to keep users informed and share technical updates through various communication channels.5. Stay updated on technology trends through continuous professional development and digital resources.6. Install and diagnose computer systems, networks, and standard software as needed.7. Conduct technical diagnostics and preventive maintenance on devices, including specialized equipment.8. Maintain an inventory database and ensure detailed tracking and resolution of service requests.9. Lead projects related to the coordination and implementation of technology initiatives.10. Communicate with hardware and software vendors as necessary.11. Provide direction to temporary or student assistance as required.12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Completion of O.S.S.D. (Grade 12 Diploma) along with a three-year diploma in a computer-related field, encompassing at least 1,500 hours of instructional time.

- A minimum of two years of relevant experience or possession of an appropriate professional certification.

- Proven ability to conduct coaching and mentoring sessions effectively.

- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.

- A team-oriented individual who can adapt to changing environments.

- Experience in installing and supporting Windows and web-based software products.

- Familiarity with website content management.

- Sound technical knowledge across various operating systems, platforms, and industry-standard software.

- Experience in servicing and repairing computers.

- Physical capability to lift and transport computer hardware and peripherals.

- A valid Driver's License and the ability to travel as required.
