Renewable Energy SCADA Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy SCADA Team Lead to join our dynamic team at WSP USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a fast-growing team of SCADA engineers, leading cutting-edge solar, wind, and energy storage projects, and innovating with the latest technologies to drive the future of renewable energy.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of SCADA engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems for utility-scale renewable projects.
  • Manage the workload and assignment of the SCADA team, ensuring timely completion of projects and high-quality deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative culture through mentorship and guidance, performing annual performance reviews and defining yearly objectives.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Contribute to the technical implementation of projects, using your expertise in SCADA integration, communication protocols, computer interfaces, networks, and cyber security.
  • Support the development of the team by providing training and mentoring.
  • Ensure project quality control by reviewing peer work and following state-of-the-art design processes.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional SCADA experience in operations, engineering, or project management.
  • Experience in SCADA integration, relevant SCADA communication protocols, computer interfaces, networks, and cyber security.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions among SCADA vendors and team members.
  • Access to a vehicle, a clean Driver's Abstract, and proficiency in the MS Office suite of products.
