We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to join our team at Noor Greenhouse Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crop production and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that all financial and production records are up-to-date and accurate, providing valuable insights for future crop planning and decision-making.
- Supervise Farm Workers: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
- Ensure Farm Safety: Implement and maintain farm safety and bio-security procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage Crop Production: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, ensuring the highest quality crop production and meeting customer demands.
- Train and Develop Staff: Hire and train staff, providing ongoing support and development opportunities to ensure the success of our team.
- Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Leadership Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an agricultural setting.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Player: A team player with a positive attitude, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of physical activity.
- Physically Demanding: The role requires a high level of physical activity, with regular lifting, bending, and standing.
The primary language of work is English.
