About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at GRD CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting and Estimating

Prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates, taking into account all relevant costs and expenses.

Subcontractor Management

Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deadlines.

Project Scheduling and Monitoring

Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Contract Administration

Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements, ensuring that they are fair and reasonable.

Quality Control

Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.

Financial Management

Plan and manage budgets, ensuring that all projects are completed within budget.

Procurement and Logistics

Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring that they are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Quality Assurance

Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare reports and analyze data and information to ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

Various locations.

Work Language

English.

Hours

40 hours per week.
