Job Title: Welder Specialist

At Bothar, we are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment used by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding, fabrication, fit-up, and layout tasks to ensure high-quality equipment.
  • Operate various welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW, to meet project requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate execution.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and maintain inventory of welding consumables.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Requirements:
  • Welder Red Seal Journeyman certification.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in welding works.
  • Relevant work experience with micro-tunnel boring machines and trenchless technology is an asset.
  • Pressure pipe welding experience is an asset.
  • CWB certification would be an asset.
Working Conditions:

This position is assigned to the Yard and to field locations during operations. Hours of work may vary, including night shifts based on project schedules.

Must be eligible to work in Canada. Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol clearance is required. Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
