We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach Chinese language and culture to elementary students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in language instruction and be able to create engaging and interactive lessons for students of varying skill levels.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and language skills
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes cultural awareness and understanding
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- High school diploma required; university degree preferred
- Teacher training or training in language teaching methodologies an asset
- Language teaching experience in the Canadian classroom an asset
- Competency in the International Language of instruction and a good working knowledge of English (at least CLB5+ level in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening or equivalent English Language fluency)
