Part-Time French Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic French speaker to join our team as a part-time French teacher/tutor/coach at Oxford Learning Stoney Creek.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a French language enthusiast to gain valuable teaching experience and make a positive impact on students' lives. As a French teacher/tutor/coach, you will work directly with students in a small group setting, helping them develop their French language skills and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach French language classes to students of various levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet students' needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in French language or a related field
  • Strong background in spoken and written French and English
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 French core curriculum
