About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant/Manager to join our SR&ED and Government Incentives team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting client engagements, examining client operations and processes, and providing expert advice on SR&ED program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support SR&ED client engagements, focusing on the manufacturing, natural resources, and clean technology/environmental industries.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and becoming a trusted and influential advisor.
  • Examine client operations and processes to determine eligibility for various grants, tax credits, and funding programs.
  • Develop and implement funding methodologies to maximize tax incentives available to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  • Provide clients with professional and timely advice on documentation and compliance with SR&ED program requirements.
  • Assist clients during technical reviews with the CRA.

Requirements

  • University degree and/or strong technical expertise in a specific field of science and engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD).
  • Recognized subject matter expert with 2+ years of SR&ED experience.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and strong editorial capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
