Senior Consultant, Training & Development

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our People First HR Services team in Winnipeg.

This senior position plays a key role in leading and delivering people and culture solutions to our clients across a breadth of organizations nationally.

Reporting to the Director, Strategic HR Consulting, this senior position will be ideal for a highly driven and entrepreneurial-minded HR professional who possesses strong critical thinking skills, influence, and the ability to establish rapport and foster relationships.

We are looking for a versatile and creative HR professional with a passion for delivering results, showcasing critical thinking skills, strong influence, and the ability to establish rapport and foster relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee projects focused on people and culture solutions to clients across Canada.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to organizations requiring strategic Human Resource solutions such as: Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Coaching & Assessments, Investigations and Total Rewards/Compensation.
  • Establish goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes.
  • Develop analysis (sometimes complex) based on client and market data.
  • Generate qualitative and quantitative analysis using data from a variety of sources.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops and client training around product solutions.
  • Cross-collaborate with other team members and divisions to ensure we are innovating and delivering the highest level of service to our clients.
  • Engage in business development activities, networking, and client relationship management to ensure the continued growth of the division and to continue to develop the strategic HR portfolio.
Requirements:
  • ~7 years' experience in HR or management consulting (you are a critical thinker with a strong understanding of Human Resources and all that it encompasses).
  • ~ Experience facilitating training and developing training programs required.
  • ~ Experience collaborating with teams of varying sizes that work with tight deadlines and with a high standard quality of work.
  • The ability to anticipate the short and long-term impact of decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving.
  • Aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to apply logic and experience to assist with the development of solutions for clients.
  • You are detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple/complex projects and work towards tight deadlines, including last-minute changes, and alignment of resources to ensure priorities are met.
