Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and colleagues by performing inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
  • Respond to raised HVAC issues throughout the hotel
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Requirements
  • Class B Gas Ticket through Technical Safety BC required
  • Experience working with Canadian HVAC systems required
  • Ability to read schematics and work with technical manuals
