Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to support our top-producing Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in meeting sales objectives and related activities by providing exceptional administrative support and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive client contact management through telephone, fax, and email requests
  • Develop relationships with service partners to ensure operational guidelines are adhered to and transactions are processed efficiently
  • Manage office routines to ensure efficiency is maintained through availability and effective management of files and records
  • Gather and prepare material required for presentations, meetings, marketing initiatives, etc.
Requirements
  • Sales-oriented, self-motivated, and self-managed with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Marketing Central
  • Knowledge of Royal Bank systems, including Sales & Service Platform and RBCNet, is an asset
