Job Summary:
VON Canada is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in their homes and other settings
- Manage diabetes, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide care
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
- Experience in community health an asset
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
