About the Role
The Customer Service Representative at Pizza Delight is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests at the counter and over the phone. This role requires a professional appearance, adherence to health and safety regulations, and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests;
- Apply health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment;
- Use sales techniques to promote our menu items and increase sales;
- Take reservations and take-out orders, and transmit them to the kitchen staff through the POS system;
- Prepare and serve beverages, condiments, and desserts for take-out;
- Serve take-out meals and ensure quality service by adhering to Pizza Delight's customer service protocol;
- Prepare bills for take-out meals, receive payments, and balance daily financial transactions;
- Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements
This role requires little experience, but strong interpersonal skills, ease at meeting people, teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and good communication skills are essential. Bilingualism may be required. Good personal grooming, confidence, integrity, stress management skills, a dynamic personality, and flexibility are also required.
Working Conditions
Work hours are generally pre-scheduled, but may vary according to the position, day, evening, or weekend. It is frequently required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. There is a possibility of part-time work, and the schedule may contain split shifts. Work is intense at mealtimes, and the work environment is noisy with pressure to maintain the work pace.
