We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our team at Staremployment, a leading mid-sized law firm in Toronto. Our firm has a broad-based practice that includes various areas of law, such as bankruptcy, business law, commercial lending, commercial litigation, real estate, employment and labor law, family law, immigration law, and tax law.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate must have at least a partial practice/portable book of business with 3-7 years of experience in employment law (non-union), knowledge of applicable provincial and federal laws, including but not limited to the common law, the Employment Standards Act, Canada Labor Code, Human Rights Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act. The successful candidate will also have superior written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable managing files independently.

Requirements:
