Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Avelino Bondad. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Alterations: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, staff accommodation available, urban area.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
