Personal Banking Associate

Customer
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through every interaction, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing advice and guidance on banking products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Provide training and education on banking products and services, including mobile, ATM, and online banking.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to sell TD Bank products and services that meet customer needs.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a professional and inviting branch environment, adhering to TD Bank's standards and guidelines.
Shareholder
- Contribute to business objectives by identifying opportunities to sell banking products and services.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of TD Bank's products and services, including Everyday Banking products and personal unsecured lending.
- Understand and apply operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Support the achievement of business objectives for Operational Excellence.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
- Evaluate and escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions and activities as necessary.
Employee/Team
- Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise in own area, participating in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit.
- Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training within own team.
- Keep others informed and up-to-date about project status and progress.
Breadth & Depth
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills to offer service and advice for a range of banking products and services.
- Understand and apply TD Bank's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide recommendations and guidance to customers and internal partners.
- Evaluate and resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Experience & Education
- High school diploma and/or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in banking or a related field.
- Post-secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
