Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Whitecourt Healthcare Centre. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for performing procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze biological specimens
  • Conduct X-ray examinations and ECGs
  • Report results and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare patients for procedures
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Perform quality control procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT)
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT)
Working Conditions

This is a temporary part-time position with a 0.30 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call. The minimum salary for this position is $35.45 per hour, with a maximum salary of $46.69 per hour.
