Director of Leadership Giving Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to lead our major gifts efforts in Eastern Canada. As Director of Leadership Giving, you will be responsible for designing and implementing development strategies to secure significant gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive major gifts strategy for Eastern Canada, aligning with JDRF Canada's overall fundraising goals.
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift prospects, building strong relationships and securing significant gifts.
  • Collaborate with volunteer leadership, staff, and other stakeholders to achieve fundraising objectives.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, creating personalized cultivation and solicitation plans.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and research in major gifts fundraising.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in senior fundraising roles, with a proven track record of success in major gifts.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • University or College degree in Business Management, Fundraising, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CFRE designation an asset.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of $90,000-$120,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
  • Remote work arrangement, with occasional travel to meet with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
