**Job Summary:**

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fashion Department Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth in the fashion department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including fashion trends, styles, and brands.
  • Drive sales growth in the fashion department through effective merchandising, visual displays, and promotional activities.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area, ensuring a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
  • Follow up on hot selling items, completing markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
  • Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards, ensuring a cohesive and engaging store experience.
  • Perform cycle counts as required, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery products.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, maintaining a safe and secure store environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and colleagues.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for long periods, bending, twisting, and squatting, lifting and moving up to 18 kg (40 lbs), and performing tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
