Job Title: Relief Learning Support Worker (LDSS)

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Relief Learning Support Worker (LDSS) to join our team at School District #91 (Nechako Lakes). As a Relief Learning Support Worker, you will work with school and district staff to foster and develop individual students' skills and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Provide academic and behavioral support to students, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
