Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to handle a variety of insurance-related legal matters. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing insurance defense cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, and subrogation claims. Collaboration with claims professionals, clients, and other legal counsel is essential in this demanding legal practice.
Key Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense law
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of insurance defense files autonomously
- Experience with tort law and employer-based WSIB claims
- Proficient in advanced computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10, suitable for a hybrid work model
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative team player with a strong dedication to quality and client service
