Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive human resources support, ensuring the effective implementation of policies and procedures within the designated facility. This position collaborates closely with local leadership to enhance business outcomes and foster improvements in talent management, employee retention, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with site leadership to enhance operational performance, devise innovative solutions, and cultivate a safe and inclusive workplace.
  • Oversee the execution of talent management initiatives, emphasizing coaching, development, succession planning, and talent reviews for site leaders.
  • Collaborate with regional and site leaders, along with the Talent HR center of excellence, to formulate and execute effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Educate stakeholders on the organization’s compensation framework and philosophy, ensuring alignment with pay-for-performance principles across the region.
  • Conduct thorough investigations at the site level, providing guidance to senior management on resolving employee relations and disciplinary matters in conjunction with the Regional HR Business Partner or Area HR Director.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals, focusing on enhancing talent capabilities and fostering teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting human resources functions, while maintaining an understanding of collective bargaining agreements, if applicable.
  • Analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover to advocate for data-driven improvements in processes.
  • Support the efficient processing of payroll and benefits at the site level, including assistance with leave administration.
  • Communicate and implement corporate HR initiatives across assigned sites.

Additional Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field; or equivalent HR training or certifications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HR legal and compliance matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to navigate ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
