Director of Sales Opportunity

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead our client's dynamic sales organization towards unparalleled success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and seize target markets and business opportunities.
  • Design and oversee domestic and international sales strategies, including pricing policies, channel approaches, and partner programs to drive growth and profitability.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, cultivating a culture of excellence and motivating the team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with marketing and other departments to achieve business objectives, execute impactful marketing campaigns, and strengthen brand positioning.
  • Present sales updates, key performance metrics, and strategic insights to the Senior Leadership Team and shareholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales and sales management, with at least 10 years in a B2B food ingredients environment and 5 years in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Science, Nutrition, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership and project management with a focus on results.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
