Position Overview

This role is designed to deliver essential Timekeeping and Accounts Payable assistance across all Aerospace Divisions, including CSH & HP.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute payroll and timekeeping functions.
  2. Address employee inquiries related to time records, adhering to HR and corporate guidelines, procedures, and collective agreements.
  3. Maintain confidential, precise, and current employee documentation.
  4. Accurately monitor employee clinical appointments, overtime banking, and vacation requests.
  5. Conduct electronic voucher reconciliation.
  6. Collaborate with Purchasing regarding Purchase Order discrepancies.
  7. Coordinate with the payroll department on relevant employee matters.
  8. Generate reports as necessary.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  1. Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in accounting.
  2. Experience in payroll functions is a valuable asset.
  3. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  4. Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  5. Capability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  6. Proactive approach with the ability to follow through on projects and meet deadlines.
  7. Familiarity with JD Edwards and Autotime is advantageous.
  8. Proficient in all necessary MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  9. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian Government Security Clearances.
