Job Summary

Lacewood Square Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in financial records
    • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
    • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
