Parking Lot Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parking Lot Supervisor to join our team at BC LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parking lot facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair work to be carried out on the parking lot facilities.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation of the parking lot.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers, and provide training on job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, as well as provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The parking lot is a busy and active work environment, and the successful candidate must be able to work effectively in this setting.
